Fall on the Island Festival Golf Outing

 

Friday, October 7th

STARTS AT 12:30PM!

 

Shot-gun Start: 1:00PM

 

Rain Date:

Saturday, October 8th @ 1:00PM

 

Where:

Drummond Island Township Golf Club

 

Nine Hole 4 Person Scramble. Open to all men & women players. Teams will be selected by random draw at 12:30pm

 

Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

AGAIN this year! GRAND PRIZE for a HOLE in ONE! A beautiful Boston Whaler package donated by Drummond Island Yacht Haven and includes the trailer!


DETAILS for PRIZES: 

Hole-in-One Distance =

Men - 185 yds.

Women - No more than 15 yd advantage

One person at least 21 years of age at hole at all times during tourney

Hole #9 par 3 will be the Hole-in-One Grand Prize hole. 


Three auxiliary prizes for the other par 3 holes:

50/50 Drawing. Mulligans available for purchase.

Play is LIMITED to 72 players! Please plan on arriving by 11:45am. You may call in advance to reserve your cart and secure your spot in the outing.

Where else can you golf where deer and airplanes are considered natural obstacles? Drummond Island Golf Club, a nine-hole course near the municipal airport. Built in the early 1960s, it is a no-frills course that has a runway running through a fairway. Watch out for landing planes!
